Abstract

A CLAMP FOR OSTEOSYNTHESIS OF TUBULAR BONES, containing a lamellar rod and an elastic element connected with it by means of jumpers, characterized in that, in order to reduce the morbidity of the bone tissue when installing and removing the fixator, it is provided with an additional lamellar rod, one of the rods having projections, and the other - notches, both rods are made with a threaded end, on which a threaded cap is installed.

Description

The invention relates to medical technology, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and is intended for the treatment of tubular bone fractures using intraosseous fixation.

A known fixer for osteosynthesis of tubular bones, comprising a threaded rod with removable handles and an elastic element in the form of a strip 1.

However, this fixer injures the bone tissue during its installation and removal, this is due to the fact that the resilient element, unfolding in the medullary canal, cuts bone tissue with its lower edge.

An osteosynthesis fixer is also known, which contains a plate rod and an elastic element 2 connected to it by means of jumpers.

A disadvantage of the known fixative is its invasiveness when it is installed and removed from the bone tissue, since the elastic element is made of ribbed and is not completely covered by a lamellar rod.

The aim of the invention is to reduce the morbidity of the bone tissue during the installation of the bone and the removal of the fixative.

This goal is achieved by the fact that the fixer for osteosynthesis of the tubular bones, containing the lamellar rod and the elastic element connected with it by means of bridges, is provided with additional elements. plate rod, one of the rods has protrusions, and the other - notches, both rods are made with a threaded end on which a threaded cap.chock is installed.

FIG. 1 shows a fixator for osteosynthesis of a tubular bone assembly; in fig. 2 - fixator installed in the tubular bone.

The proposed retainer comprises a plate rod 1, an additional plate rod 2 and an elastic element 3 between the rods, which is connected to the rods 1 and 2 in the hinges 4 and 5. Jumpers 6 are made in the plate hinges to prevent the elastic element 3 from falling out. The lamellar rod 1 has recesses 7, into which the protrusions 8 of the additional lamellar rod 2 are inserted. From the blunt end, the lamellar rods 1 and 2 are made with the threaded end 9 on the outer surface and fastened with a removable threaded cap 10.

The device is used as follows.

Closed or framed wounds are fragments 11 and 12 of the tubular bone. Then through the trepanation hole 13, the lock is inserted in the assembled form. After passing the pointed end of the fixer below the fracture level, the cap 10 is unscrewed, the hammer rod strikes the blunt end of the lamellar rod 2, the latter is held lower along the medullary canal, which releases the lamellar rod 1. Then the lamellar rod 1 and the additional lamellar rod 2 are finally lowered into the bone - cerebral canal fragment 12. In this case, the elastic element 3 acts on the plate rod 1 and the additional plate rod 2, ensuring close contact of the latter with the bone marrow new channel.

With the aid of the proposed fixer, a strong bond of fragments is achieved, the injury by the elastic element of the wall of the medullary canal is eliminated. This makes it possible to refuse additional external immobilization of the limb. Due to the fact that at the time of insertion of the fixer, the latter is in assembled form, osteosynthesis is facilitated and indications for the fixation of fragments closed without exposing the fracture zone are expanded. All of the above contributes to the complete fusion of the fracture at the optimum time, and it allows to reduce the period of disability.
