О - 9 +00 The invention relates to electrochemical treatment and can be used for cleaning electrolyte from sludge. A known method of cleaning electrolyte from sludge by settling with free flow over partitions l. The existing septic tanks are a bath with internal relocations. The electrolyte is cleared of sludge by sludge while electrolyte is slowly flowing through the bath. Multiple systems are used to achieve the purity degree. The disadvantage of these systems is the difficulty of separating sludge from electrolyte. In the separated sludge there is a large amount of electrolyte and additional cost of refining is often necessary. The aim of the invention is to increase the cleaning efficiency while reducing the size of the cleaning device. This goal is achieved by the fact that an external magnetic field is applied across the horizontal direction of the electrolyte in a horizontal plane, and an electric current is passed along the direction coinciding with the direction of the electrolyte movement. In this case, the vectors of the electric and magnetic fields intersect in the horizontal plane. The electrically charged particle, in this case, a positively charged cation moving in a magnetic field is affected by the Lorentz force Fj ,. Depending on the direction of the electric and magnetic field strength vectors, this force can be directed up or down. In this case, an effect of apparent decrease or increase in the specific gravity of the electrolyte occurs. A decrease in the apparent specific gravity of the electrolyte (the Lorentz force is directed upwards) leads to an increase in the sedimentation rate of the head, an increase in the efficiency and compactness of the device due to the fact that the electroneutral sludge particles do not spread along the electrolyte flow direction. In the mode of removing the sludge from the cleaning device, the effect of increasing the apparent specific gravity of the electrolyte is used. The Lorentz force is directed downward, the splinter floats to the surface, which makes cleaning the settling tank much easier and the serviceability increases as the accumulated sludge is removed by itself, which is not required for this special devices. The drawing shows a diagram of an apparatus for carrying out the proposed method. The electrolyte is cleaned from cuttings in an experimental device consisting of a cell 1 made of a dielectric material in the form of a rectangular cup. The two vertical electrodes 2 simultaneously serve as partitions for the free overflow of excess electrolyte. At the bottom of the cell there are six cups 3 for sampling electrolyte. The cell is placed between the poles of the electrolyte 4. A self-priming electrolyte (174 g / l 10H20) with a chipstone concentration of 0.09% (0.9 g / l) is pumped through the shtutser at the bottom of the cell, which, filling the working space between the electrodes, self-cleans as a result of free 1 The overflow and sedimentation of sludge particles at an electrolyte consumption of 25. When this cell is placed between the poles of an electrolyte creating a magnetic field of 55 mT and a current is switched on with a density of 0.046 A / cm, the precipitation of sludge particles accelerates when the electrolyte passes the same distance (II) limited by two electrodes, and the proportion of sludge particles from the total flow of the scummed electrolyte deposited in the cell. As a result, the percentage of precipitated sludge in the cell rises from 0.24 to 0.38%. When the polarity of the magnetic field or the polarity of the electrodes is reversed, sludge ascends, which, when overflowing through the smaller of the electrodes, clears the cuvette from the sludge, which contributes to the ease of operation of the proposed method. Improving the cleaning efficiency when applying external electric and magnetic fields allows cleaning devices to be more compact compared to existing ones, increasing the process efficiency, as well as being able to self-unload the device from the accumulated spam and make the electrolyte cleaning process more convenient to use.
