Description
1 The invention relates to chemical processes, in particular to the purification of hydrofluoric acid from silicon compounds. A known method of cleaning hydrofluoric acid from silicon by treating it with a solution of soda. The degree of purification from silicon is 90-96% l. The disadvantage of this method is a significant dilution of the acid (the concentration of hydrofluoric acid in the cleaning process is reduced by 4-7%). The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved result is a method of purification of hydrofluoric acid containing 10-25% silicon, including its treatment with sodium fluorofluoride first, and then with soda. The degree of purification from silicon is 9096% 2. The disadvantage of this method is also a significant dilution of the acid (the concentration of hydrofluoric acid in the cleaning process is reduced by 4-7%). The purpose of the invention is to reduce the dilution of the acid (reducing the concentration of hydrofluoric acid in the process, purification to -2%) while maintaining the degree of purification. The goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method of purification of hydrofluoric acid from silicon, which involves treating it with sodium fluorine-containing compound and soda, the treatment is carried out with sodium fluoride and soda pulp, taken in a ratio of 0.5-1: The essence of the method is as follows. When treating hydrofluoric acid
пульпой фтористого натри и содыsodium fluoride pulp and soda
2 initially forms a supersaturated solution of Na-SiF, due to the presence of soda in the pulp, then Na "SiFg crystals are planted on the surface of NaF crystals, but since the surface of the crystals is large and the sodium fluoride crystals are rather large, the sodium silicofluoride buildup formed on them is local and not strong and transfer to the solution in the form of a fine suspension of NajSiF, forming the conditions for further precipitation obtained from the interaction of sodium fluoride with hydrofluoric acid. In addition, the addition of sodium fluoride makes it possible to return part of fluorosilicic acid fluoride in the form of hydrogen fluoride and thereby increase the concentration of hydrofluoric acid. Example. Hydrofluoric acid of the following composition is cleaned,%: 25-30, HgSiFg 10-25, hydrofluoride sodium sulphate and soda (soda solution of 300 g / l) at a ratio of NaF: NajCO 0.5: 1, 1: 1; 1.5: 1; 2: 1. The process lasts 15 minutes. Data on the degree of purification, HF content and in hydrofluoric acid before and after cleaning are given in the table. When the ratio of NaF: Na-COa is changed in the pulp to 0.2: 1, the acid is diluted to 18%, with a ratio of NaF: above 1: 1 it is considered, the degree of purification from silicon. Thus, this method allows to reduce the dilution of the acid in the cleaning process from 4-7 to 2% while maintaining the degree of purification from silicon 90-96% and, in addition
