Abstract

Technical field

The invention relates to the packaging of goods for one or more packaged goods, in particular as a sales package or a retail packaging for goods intended for retail, with one upper side of the container and one rear side of the container which are directly or indirectly through at least one side wall The upper side of the package is connected to the bending groove on one side and has a closing flap on the opposite side, which is resealable in a reclosable manner to the package of goods.

Packaging of goods of this type is generally known and usually consists of cardboard blanks.

The known cardboard packages are used to pack advantageously small goods, especially sweets. However, the application field of the invention is not to be limited to this special use, this is only one exemplary use of a retail container. Often, such packages are used not only to pack side-by-side goods, but also to present them for attractive collection, and the individual goods are then packaged once again.

A classic application example of the packaging of goods according to the invention are separately wrapped chocolate bars, pralines or biscuits. These foods existing, for example, in a rectangular shape are then separately wrapped in foil and arranged side by side in a type package.

In order to be suitable for the sale of foodstuffs without further packaging, such as a transparent film, it must be ensured that the user can also recognize when the package is first opened that the package has been opened for the first time and that no unauthorized person has opened it. This is prescribed by the Food Law in most countries and, of course, also required by consumers, as they want to be sure that the packaged products are unaffected by the purchase. Packaging with transparent film is disadvantageous in that this not only requires an additional packaging step, but in addition, in many countries it also imposes additional disposal costs, which often have to be taken over by the manufacturer. For this reason, it is preferable to form the package from a uniform material, such as paper or cardboard material, which is suitable for retail without further packaging.

For this purpose, packages have been created which can be folded from one cardboard blank. Typically, a box with four side walls, one back side of the package and one top side of the package is folded from the carton blank. One of the two sides, either the top side of the package or the back side of the package, is formed so as to have a closing flap through which the packaged goods contained in the package can be removed. The closure flap may form part of the upper side of the package, so that it can be torn, for example. After tearing and partial removal or bending of the top of the package, the packaged goods are then exposed. Alternatively, the entire upper side of the package may also be rotatable about any bending groove provided for folding the cardboard package, so that the upper side of the package is not joined at all on its two side edges or is only connected by a releasable connection.

In the event that the packaged goods are not sufficiently well packaged within the packaging of the goods, there must be a circumferential glued connection to ensure that the individual goods are not accessible through cut-outs or slits without this being conspicuous. Since the main object of the present invention is precisely to eliminate such inner packaging of goods, for example from closed and glued foil material, it is advantageous to form the packaging with glued side walls. Alternatively, the package may also be formed by extending from the side walls which are not connected to the top of the package inwardly, which partitions are covered by the hinged top of the package. In the closed state, this means that the package is formed with a double wall in the region of the top closure cover for at least a few centimeters, so that the goods contained in the package are only accessible after a massive bending of the closure flap. However, such a massive bend is again recognizable from the outside, so that such a partition overlap also takes into account the buyer's sense of security.

Furthermore, the known containers partially have a resealable closure. Such a closure must, of course, be made such that the first opening of the closure is recognizable from the opening following the closure so that the user can recognize when opening the package for the first time. This can be done, for example, so that the user tears the package when it is first opened and only then becomes accessible to the closure flap. The closure flap thus made accessible, which is pivotable only after tearing, can then be temporarily closed by means of a plug flap. Such embodiments are also generally known.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a package of goods of the type mentioned in the introduction, which is easy to manufacture, has a reclosable closure which allows a reliable closure.

The essence of the technical solution

This object has been achieved according to the invention in that the closing flap encircles the packaging of the goods and can be inserted into the fitting of the flap located on the back of the packaging to close the packaging of the goods.

Thus, according to an embodiment of the invention, the closure flap is inverted by one or more bending grooves and extending one region parallel to the back of the package. This causes the opening and locking tabs to be pulled out of the tab mounting in a direction parallel to the plane of the back of the package. Since the upper side of the package that accesses the packaged goods is rotatable along a circular path around a bending groove through which the upper side of the package is connected to either the sidewall or the underside of the package, the opening direction of the top of the package is oriented relatively at right angles to the release direction opening and plug flaps. This ensures that the pulling on the top of the package does not cause the opening and plug flaps to slip out of the flap mounting, since the opening force acting on the top of the wrapping does not act in the direction in which the opening and plug flaps would have to be pulled out of the flap mounting. Thus, the opening of the closure can take place only after the top side of the package or the closing flap has been deformed.

Due to the fact that the closing flap now extends as one elongated portion of the top of the package after bending through one or two folding grooves to the back of the package and there is an opening and sliding flap inserted into the flap mounting, it is possible to create a secure closure in the flap mounting securely fixed without deformation retention means. Breaking or tearing of the closure means and thereby breaking of the resealable closure can be prevented for a long time, if not permanently.

The package of goods according to the invention may be used with a large number of package forms which may, on one or more sides, contain side walls but need not. In the simplest case, the invention can also be used if the package consists, for example, of only one upper side of the package and one rear side of the package, which are connected to each other only by bending grooves. Here, for example, the lateral right bending groove and the lateral left bending groove may have perforations, so that in order to open the package the top side of the package needs to be torn and rotated through the bending groove between the top side of the package and the back side of the package.

In this simple embodiment, the closure flap on the side of the top side of the package opposite to the bending groove is guided around the edge of the package, and the closure flap is inserted into a corresponding grip on the back of the package. Another classic embodiment is the cuboid shape of the package with four side walls on each side of the package.

The closure flap is preferably adhered to the back of the package so that, due to the integrity of the adhesive bond, it can be recognized that the package has not yet been opened. The glued joint can be designed such that it can be torn without breaking the closure flap, possibly only releasing an insignificant part of the surface. Alternatively, one or more adhesive flaps may be provided that are disposed on the closure flap and are connected thereto by weakened tear lines, for example perforations. This makes it possible to tear the closure flap, while the adhesive flaps then remain on the back of the package.

Figure 1 shows a cardboard blank from which the packaging of goods according to the invention can be folded. This packaging of goods has four lateral sides, one upper side 1 of the container and one rear side 2 of the container.

Figure 2 shows the folded package of goods in the closed state from the rear side view 2 of the package. Figures 3 and 4 show the same package, Figure 3 in partially opened and Figure 4 in fully opened condition.

The packaging shown is exemplary only; the side walls may be omitted, in whole or in part, as required. Also, the surfaces do not have to be rectangular or quadratic; triangular packaging and other shapes are also possible.

As can be seen from Figure 1, the substantial surfaces of the package consist of the top 1 of the package as well as the back 2 of the package. These admitted surfaces are connected to each other through the first longitudinal folding groove 1 'and the second longitudinal folding groove 1', both of these folding grooves extending parallel to each other and delimiting the lateral side wall.

In the lower region, the upper side 1 of the package is connected by means of an inner folding groove 7 'of the flap and an outer folding groove 7' of the flap to the closing flap 7. This closing flap 7 has perforations 8 'extending left or right outwards in the inner middle region. These are the right and left outer corners of the closure flap 7. Between the closure flap 8 there is an opening and plug flap 3 'which, after removal of the glue tabs 8 in the illustrated example, protrudes downward from the closure flap 7.

In the upper region, the third longitudinal folding groove 4 'as well as the fourth longitudinal folding groove 4' define the rear side 2 of the package and define this in the area that forms the later lower rail 4 for holding the product. In the same way, on the left side by means of the first transverse bending groove 5 'and the second transverse bending groove 5' and on the right side by the third transverse bending groove 6 'as well as the fourth transverse bending groove 6' and the lateral left side rail 5 for product retention and the later right side rail 6 for holding the product 6.

Said bending grooves always extend parallel to each other and form boundaries of the side walls. As best seen in Figure 4, the peripheral side walls are first folded by folding grooves, then further inward folding creates rails 4, 5 and 6 for holding the product. Thus, a pocket-like attachment is formed into which the article 9 shown here as a tabular chocolate article can be inserted. In this way, it is possible to easily offer the package to the candidate in the open state without the goods being able to easily fall out of the opened package.

Figure 2 shows the folded package in a closed state ready for sale. Both adhesive flaps 8 are glued to the right and left of the opening and plug flaps 3 'with the back of the package. To open this package, the opening and insertion flaps 3 'are grasped and pulled upward so that the closing flap 7 can be released from the adhesive tabs 8 along the perforation 8' (see Figure 1) under the opening and insert flap (see Figure 1) ), which is completely covered by the opening and plug flaps 3 'before tearing the perforations 8'.

After the perforations 8 ' have been separated, the closing flap 7 can be pivoted, then the entire upper side 1 of the package can be pivoted about the second longitudinal folding groove 1 '. In the illustrated embodiment, it is also possible to fold back the sidewall between the first longitudinal bending groove 1 'and the second longitudinal bending groove 1' so that the product can be removed from the packaging upwards.

According to the invention, it is essential that the opening and insertion flap first serves to grip the closing flap 7 and to separate the perforations 8 'by means of a tearing movement facing upwards, at right angles to the back side 2 of the package away from this. This is readily possible because the lift movement of the closing flap 7 corresponds to the optimum direction in which the perforations 8 'can be torn. It is advantageous here that the opening and insertion flaps 3 'are relatively small, so that unintentional tearing can be prevented.

If, on the other hand, the opening and insertion flaps 3 'were placed on the sidewall, the packaging of the goods in the carton or the packaging of the goods on the retail shelf could inadvertently tear the packaging, which would prevent the retailer from disposing of the product. Thanks to the invention, the closure is now located completely on the back and is secured against unintentional damage during handling of the product during packaging or stacking in retail racks.

After tearing the perforations 8 ', the adhesive flaps 8 remain as separate, unnecessary components on the back 2 of the package. The opening and insertion flap 3 ', which then serves only as a locking tongue for the resealable closing, can then be inserted into the fitting of the flap 3'. Since this has to accept only a small mechanical load due to the double folding of the closing flap 7 around the inner folding groove 7 'of the flap and the outer folding groove 7' of the flap, the exclusive insertion effect can nevertheless constitute a secure closure.

A particular advantage of the packaging according to the invention is that, despite a secure closing device, it can be easily manufactured from a planar cardboard blank by corresponding punching and bending grooves. Plainboard blanks can be printed in a particularly simple manner with a label and easily folded industrially. In addition to the secure closure up to the separation of the perforations 8 ', which is considerably more difficult to damage during the logistics of the goods than previously, the packaging according to the invention also offers a readily re-closable and unused closure during emptying.

In addition, by means of the product holding rails 4, 5 and 6, the packaged goods 9 can also be held in an open package and thus be presented to a third party. In addition, the closing flap 7 can be folded back and serves as a base on which the packaging of the goods can rest when the packaging lies on the closing flap 7. This provides a slightly raised, inclined presentation area from which the packaged goods 9 can then be removed easily and easily.
