BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the winter months, it is advantageous to protect the windshields of vehicles parked outdoors against frost. This is particularly useful in passenger cars for relatively simple mounting of the cover on the glass. Before driving, the cover is removed and there is no need to scrape up the horse or ice from the windscreen. Waterproof tarpaulins or various sheets of vehicle windshield size, extended to both sides and / or fitted with laces, are used for the covers. The side parts or laces are inserted around the windshield frame into the vehicle and pressed against the gasket by closing both front doors of the vehicle. The left and right laces can be tied in the vehicle.

The essence of the technical solution.

A simpler handling of the protective cover is provided by a technical solution which consists in that the cover preferably has a width of the windshield of the vehicle in the horizontal direction, while in the vertical direction the cover dimension exceeds the vertical dimension of the windscreen. In the vicinity of the lower edge, the cover is provided with at least two ears against which hooks are attached to the windshield at the bottom thereof to catch the cover behind the ears. The upper edge of the housing is equipped with permanent magnets.

Example

In an exemplary embodiment, the vehicle windshield protective cover 7 is made of a tarpaulin. In the horizontal direction, the cover 7 has a shape identical to that of the windshield or slightly wider than the windshield. In the vicinity of the lower edge, the cover 1 is provided with at least two tabs 2. The tabs 2 are sewn near the bottom corners of the cover 1. Permanent magnets 3 are sewn into the upper part of the cover 1 at least at each corner thereof. In an exemplary embodiment, the magnets 3 are placed on the opposite side of the cover 1 as ears 2. The edge of the cover material 1 is folded over the magnets 3 and sewed to the other material, the magnets 3 are covered and protected. Hooks 4 are glued to the windshield of the vehicle so that they are opposite the ears 2 when the cover 1 is fitted.

When using the cover j. the hooks 4 engage the hooks 4 and the upper edge of the cover 1 is fastened by magnets 3.0 to the metal body of the vehicle. The length of the cover 7 is such that after the ears 2 have been caught by the hooks 4, the magnets 3 reach the body above the windshield. The hooks 4 are fastened to the windscreen so that they do not obstruct the view of the occupants and that the cover 1 can also be pressed against the glass by the wipers.
