Abstract

At minimum the outside surface of ceramic, concrete or bitumen tiles of a roof covering is mechanically cleaned, e.g. by a grinding or by a flow of a cleaning medium, and on the cleaned surface, a protective penetration agent is applied. The agent is advantageously on the base of polymeric materials, e.g. polyepoxides, polyacrylates, polyurethanes or polycarbonates. The regeneration of the tiles of a roof covering is possible to be realized directly on a building roof.

Description

Doterajší stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Commonly used roofing materials on residential and non-residential buildings, consisting of ceramic, concrete or bitumen tiles, are degraded after long-term exposure to various weather and emission effects, sunlight, snow cover, as well as dust particles and biological processes (humus-forming processes) trapped by moistened dust, soil and plant residues, overgrowing with mosses or higher plants, degradation by the activities of animals (eg birds, etc.). Such a deteriorated roofing is not only aesthetic, but loses important functional properties such as breakage and strength, leakage, rainwater drainage and low snowfall. By reducing these properties, the covering becomes a waste material unsuitable for recycling and destined for landfill as construction waste, and the tiles must therefore be costly replaced with new ones.

Podstata vynálezuSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The disadvantages of the prior art are solved by the method according to the invention, according to which at least the outer surfaces of the roof tile tiles are free of solid impurities at the installation site and / or after being removed from the installation site, preferably by mechanical cleaning, for example by abrasion with a wire brush, disc or air. water or steam. A protective primer is then applied to the cleaned tile surfaces by brushing, spraying, dipping or rolling, preferably a coating based on polymeric materials, for example epoxides, acrylates, polyurethanes or polycarbonates, preferably in the form of a primer for corrosion-resistant metals for external environments. .

Z ekonomickéhoThe main advantage of the solution according to the invention is that the regeneration of the tiles significantly improves the hydrological properties of the outer surface of the covering, stops the destructive effects of humus-forming processes and biological weathering on the surface and depth of the tiles, decreases the ability to retain moisture, sediments, respectively. destructive freezing of the water in the pores, the structure of the tile material is strengthened and the micro-cracks in the tiles are removed, significantly extending the service life and aesthetic appearance of the covering.

From an economic point of view, it is advantageous to regenerate the covering prior to replacing it with a new covering, in particular by using unpretentious materials and technology, eliminating the cost of purchasing, transporting, handling and setting up new tiles, as well as eliminating the cost of scrapping the old covering. A further advantage of the solution is also that the regeneration of the covering can be carried out without uncovering the roof and intermediate storage of the covering. In addition, almost no construction waste is generated during regeneration, the covering material is reused and the waste deposited in the landfill is reduced. The solution enables fast, efficient, environmentally friendly and technologically undemanding roofing restoration as well as parallel repair or truss repair.

Príklady uskutočnenia vynálezuDETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The ceramic and concrete roof tiles exposed for 20 years on the roof of the family house and the adjoining farm building are pulled out on the roof battens to expose the outer surface, which is abraded with a wire disc to remove dust and ground sediments, humified sediments and moss. The cleaned tile surface is brushed with a polyurethane primer for metals for outdoor use. After the paint has dried, the tiles are retracted on the roof battens to their original position.

Bituminous tiles from the roof of the reconstructed building are folded on the attic and cleaned with a jet of air and a wire brush. They are then soaked in a dilute colored acrylic quick-drying coating and, after drying, are placed on the roof again.
