Abstract

To heat a web of fibre material, and especially a tissue web, steam is fed directly between the pressure roller and drying cylinder in front of the press action. Also claimed is an assembly with a steam blower with outlet openings aligned into the roller gap between the pressure roller and the drying cylinder.
