Abstract

The feedback system has an exhaust gas feedback line (14) connected to the exhaust line (3) upstream of the exhaust gas turbine (4) of the turbocharger. The exhaust gas feedback line and the turbocharger are connected to the charging air line (2) downstream of the compressor (5) of the turbocharger. The exhaust quantity fed through the feedback line is regulated by a regulator (29) with a further turbocharger (16) and a regulating valve (23). The turbine (18) of the further turbocharger is connected in parallel with the exhaust line or the charging air line.
