Abstract

The building component (1) comprises a frame (2) and a corner (3), the corner consisting of four plates. The frame is provided with longitudinal tracks (4) either around the whole frame or part of it. Also the corner is provided with a track (6) along the whole length of its one edge or part of it. A guide, of hard wood fibre plate, is in engagement with the two tracks. In order to connect the frame and corner with the guide a joining material is used, eg. wood glue, in balanced amount. Each connection between the frame and the corner plate is made with a number of guides. The space between the frame and the corner can be sealed and filled out in the same operation with a material (7), eg. seam foam.
