Abstract

A heat exchanger for heat treatment of a product by means of a heating-cooling medium comprises a first number of spaces (1) delimited by annular distance elements (3). The spaces have in- and outlets for the product which is to be heat-treated. In the spaces (1) there are discs (13, 22) provided with scrapers arranged on a vertical shaft (11). In the heat exchanger there is also a second number of spaces (2) for heating/cooling medium. These spaces (2) have in- and outlets for the heating/cooling medium and are sealed against the in- and outlets for product. The vertical shaft (11) extends through the heat exchanger and is arranged to be rotatable. The discs (13, 22) are provided with hubs with an extension at right angles to the plane of the disc in order to enable sealing against adjacent discs and the shaft (11). The discs (13, 22) are arranged to be detachably arranged on the shaft (11).
