Abstract
A safety device for a shell igniter has a rotor (3) contg. the explosive. To operate the rotor no stored energy is necessary. Between the rotor axis (2) and an axially displaceable safety pin (5), is a radial guide pin (9) which when engaged in a circular groove (12) causes the axial withdrawal of the safety bolt and swings the rotor (3) into the armed position. The guide pin (9) is held against the safety pin (5). The ring groove (12) is formed around the rotor axis (2).
