Abstract

Flexible sheaths based on polytrifluoroethylene can be arranged around flexible metal pipes or cables. The sheathed pipes can be used as offshore flexible pipes. The polymer may also comprise units of chlorotrifluoroethylene, tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropene, vinylidene fluoride and ethylene.
