Abstract
PURPOSE:To carry out the desorbing regeneration of high efficiency using small necessary quantity of heat by making the temperatures of regeneration gas in the inlets of >=2 regeneration zones to be higher in order and regenerating each part of rotor. CONSTITUTION:The gas adsorption rotor 1, in which numerous small through- holes are provided from one end surface to the other end surface and gas adsorbent is exposed on the surface on each small through-hole, is constituted in such a way that a purge zone 15, an adsorption zone 4, and >=2 regeneration zones 5a-5c in the roter are put into action in order accompanied with the revolution of the rotor. The temperatures of regeneration gas in the inlets of >=2 regeneration zones 5a-5c is made to be higher in order and each part of the roter 1 is regenerated. As a result, the desorbing regeneration of high efficiency is carried out using smaller necessary quantity of heat compared with the single stage desorbing regeneration with a single high temp. gas.
