Abstract

The present invention concerns a floor drain intended to be placed in a room 2 with a toilet bowl 3 and at least one other unit provided with outlet pipe, for example a wash-hand basin 4 and/or a bath tub 5 and/or a bidet and/or a washing machine. To reduce the number of passages in the floor of the room 2 to preferably just one for all the units with outlet pipes, the floor drain 1 has two separate flow parts 6 and 7 which are connected to a common outlet pipe 8 issuing from the floor drain 1. One flow part 6 permits connection of an outlet pipe 9 from the toilet bowl 3 so that toilet water can flow out via the outlet pipe 8 issuing from the floor drain, and the other flow part 7 receives the outlet pipe 10 and/or 11 from the second unit 4 and/or 5 and has a water lock 12 via which it leads waste water from the outlet pipe 10 and/or 11 from the second unit 4 and/or 5 to the outlet pipe 8 of the floor drain 1. <IMAGE>
