Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for producing anodized surfaces on objects made of aluminium or aluminium alloy, which surfaces exhibit very low emittance (very high reflectance) in the wavelength range 7-50 μm. An aftertreatment of the surface, which has been anodized in a conventional manner, is used to free it from acid anions from the anodizing bath, which remain in the pores of the surface. The anodized surface, which has been produced in accordance with the invention, can then be aftertreated for precipitating metal in the pores in a conventional manner.
