Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate cost reduction by forming a rail into a tubular shape, fitting a band-shaped rib at the lower part of the rail, and supporting a train on the rails with a plurality of wheel pulleys mounted on shafts through bearings. CONSTITUTION: Rails 3 are tubular, have band-shaped ribs 4 at their bottoms, and are supported by a plurality of supporting columns 6 and supports 5. A rail vehicle 2 has a vertical stabilizing plate 7 for high speed on its top. A driven wheel pulley 8 operated by an engine 9 is provided at the inside of the vehicle 2. The vehicle 2 has a stabilizing plate 10 for stabilizing and adjusting inclination at the time of high speed. The vehicle 2 has a reinforced bottom part 11, and the reinforced bottom part 11 is constituted of beams for absorbing strong stress and lowering the center of gravity. The rail is formed into a tubular shape out of a small amount of material and used for very light-weight vehicle, thus it is possible to attain significant cost reduction for the rail 3.
