Abstract
A brake system for commercial motor vehicles with an antilock brake device and traction control is proposed. The traction control has a pressure control valve (16), by means of which respective pressure control shut-off valves (23 and 24) can be actuated, each of which is arranged in a respective connecting line (25 and 26) between the brake cylinder (7 and 8 respectively) of the drive axle (5) and the brake cylinder (9 and 10 respectively) of the trailing axle (6). In this way, only the drive axle (5) then continues to receive brake pressure because the corresponding drive wheel on that axle was spinning. <IMAGE>
