Abstract

A halogen leak detector comprises a pick-up (1) of the surface ionization provided with an anode (2) and a cathode (4). The anode (2) is electrically connected to an individual current source (3) connected to a trigger (9). The cathode (4) is electrically connected to an individual current source (5) and to an amplifier (6) of the ion current. The output of the amplifier (6) of the ion current is connected to a recording device (7) and to an amplitude discriminator (8) connected through its output to the trigger (9).
