Abstract

The invention relates to a heat exchanger for dynamic latent-heat stores. The solution according to the invention relates to the technical field of heat storage, in particular utilising phase-change materials, the heating and cooling of which take place in direct contact with boiling and condensing heat transport media in closed containers or circuits. The aim of the invention is to improve the heat-exchange capacities of dynamic latent-heat stores, at the same time reducing the expenditure on material and increasing the operational reliability. The invention is based on the object of increasing the heat input into the phase-change material of dynamic latent-heat stores by means of structural elements. According to the invention, the object is achieved by the melting lines forming a frustoconical tube cage in such a way that a multiplicity of sectional lines are arranged on the (imaginary) lateral surface of the truncated cone, which has an inclination of 50-85@ with respect to the horizontal, the sectional lines being connected to one another by means of an upper ring line, which forms the top surface of the truncated cone and is in the phase-change material, and a lower ring line, which forms the bottom surface of the truncated cone. <IMAGE>
