Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for continuously producing thermally insulated conveying pipes, in which the conveying pipe is provided allround with foam, using a film acting as a separating agent towards the device, and with a protective plastic sheath. The foaming round the conveying pipes takes place in a tubular cavity formed by a continuous unit with twin mould-block chains. The conveying pipe with foam round it is then provided in a vacuum-calibrated extruder by means of an annular die with a foamed protective plastic sheath of high density.
