Abstract

A superpurifier for nitrogen provides means for contacting an impurity-containing nitrogen gas with a getter of an alloy consisting of from 15 to 30% by weight iron and from 70 to 55% by weight zirconium. A higher purity than that obtained by conventional purification processes is given. <IMAGE>
