Abstract

The invention relates to the machining of metals by electroerosion. The device forming the subject of the invention is characterised especially in that the electrode tool comprises a central electrode 3 made from a conductive material and mounted in a sheath 5 coaxially with the latter and so that it extends beyond the working end of this sheath 5 on the workpiece to be machined 7 side, and in that the base piece is made in the form of an end piece 23 equipped with limiting support elements with springs, the sheath 5 of the electrode tool being fixed to the said end piece 23 and comprising a support collet 27 fixed to its working end. The invention applies especially to the machining of electrically conductive materials by spark erosion, especially to the cutting of blind holes or holes emerging into places of the workpiece which are difficult to access. <IMAGE>
