Abstract
A heat pump comprised of a multi-stage absorber (1) and a multi-stage generator (2) and are so arranged that a cold medium (12) and an absorbent (13) are circulated between these and that a fluid (c) which shall be heated, passes through this. The multi-stage absorber (1) comprises a vaporizer (3) for vaporizing the cold fluid with heat from an external low temperature heating source, at least one absorber/vaporizer (4, 5) in order to allow the absorbent to absorb the cold liquid's vapours from the vaporizer and for vaporizing of the cold liquid through the absorption heat as well as an absorber (6) in order to allow the absorber absorb the cold liquid's vapours from a preceding absorber/vaporizer (4, 5) and for heating through the absorption heat of the fluid (c) that is to be heated. A multi-stage generator (2) comprising a regenerator (7) for condensing the cold fluid in the absorber with heat from an external high temperature heat source and thereby condensing the absorbent, at least one condenser/vaporizer (6, 9) for condensing of the absorbent with latent heat in the cold liquid vapour from the regenerator as well as a condenser (10) for heating the fluid with latent heat at the cold liquid vapour from a preceding condenser/regenerator (8, 9). According to this arrangement the fluid (c) can be heated over a broad temperature area through the exchange of heat at high temperatures.<IMAGE>
