Abstract

Heat pump of the multidouble-regeneration-multidouble absorption type with a multidouble absorption unit 1 and a multidouble regeneration unit 2 and which is adjusted so that the coolant and absorption agents are circulated between the two mentioned units and that the liquid being heated is passed through them; the cited multidouble absorption unit consists of an evaporator 3, which evaporates the coolant with heat coming from an outer low temperature heat source, at least one absorption/ evaporation unit 4, 5 that permits the absorption agent to absorb the coolant vapor from the mentioned evaporator or the preceding similar absorption/evaporation unit, and evaporates the coolant with heat of absorption, and an absorber 6, which permits the absorption agent to absorb the coolant either from it or from the preceding absorption/evaporator unit and heats the heatable liquid with heat absorption. The multidouble regeneration unit consists of a regenerator 7 which evaporates the coolant in the absorption agent with heat coming from an outer high-temperature heat source and thus condenses the absorption agent, at least one condensation/regeneration unit 9, which condenses the absorption agent with latent heat coming from the cited regenerator or from the preceding similar condensation/regeneration unit or coolant vapor, and a condenser 10, which heats the heatable liquid with latent heat coming from this or the preceding similar condensation/regeneration unit or coolant vapor. With this arrangement the heatable liquid can be heated to a high temperature range with heat exchange at high temperatures. <IMAGE>
