Abstract

A process for converting a low boiling point liquid into a gas, comprises evaporating the liquid in a heat exchanger (5) by condensing a first stream of a first heat exchange medium, heating the resultant gas in a heater (8) by condensing a second stream of the first heat exchange medium at a higher pressure than the first stream, and evaporating the condensed first heat exchange medium in an evaporator (17) by transfer of heat from a second heat exchange medium. <IMAGE>
