Abstract

An airtight casing extends between channels and a silo wall. Air is blown inbetween the silo base and the casing. The casing is inflated to form a ridge between the channels and between the channels ano the silo wall. This causes the granular material in the silo to flow down towards the channels to promote evacuation of material via the discharge channels.
