Abstract

The invention relates to a heat exchanger (1), in particular condenser for the cooling medium in heat pumps, which, between centrally arranged supply and removal pipes in a cylindrical container (2) sealed with a cover (4) and bottom (3), has pipe coils (7 to 14) for the water throughput, which are connected parallel to one another and which extend spirally in one plane from inside outwards and in a plane offset in the axial direction spirally from outside inwards, and which has a pressure pipe (16) and a suction pipe (17) for the cooling medium. To simplify the soldering work necessary and at the same time to guarantee an approximately uniform water throughput through the pipe coils, it is proposed according to the invention that each pipe coil (7 to 14) has its own inlet pipe (7' to 14') and its own outlet pipe (7'' to 14'') which open respectively into a common supply duct (5) in the bottom (3) and into a common removal duct (6) in the lid (4) of the heat exchanger (1). <IMAGE>
