Abstract

A method for the production of a concrete composition is described in which cement, aggregate, water, plasticiser and other auxiliary and addition substances are fed to a known mixer. In accordance with the invention, the mixer is connected to a power meter, a constant amount of water is added in connection with the feeding of the materials, and the power is read after the feeding. A constant amount of a known plasticiser is then added and the new power read. Finally, the amount of additional water, of plasticiser or of water plus plasticiser necessary in order to obtain the final desired point is calculated by means of known empirical formulae and/or systems of curves. <IMAGE>
