Abstract

A fuse holder 1 has a base 2 and a removable head 3 which has a U-shaped connecting conductor 32 for electrically connecting a fuse element 5, at 341, and a contact 22 in the base. (A compression spring 35 urges the fuse element against foot contact 21.) The U-arms 34 extend from a web portion 33 obliquely inwards as far as the inner contact points 341 and then extend obliquely outwards as far as the outer contact points 342. Web portion 33 is secured to the head by lugs 330. In a modification (Fig. 5 not shown) only one of the arms 34 forms a contact 342, the other arm serving as a support element. <IMAGE>
