Abstract

Sowing apparatus for automatically sowing seed after scarifying. The apparatus is intended in particular for sowing seeds from pine and spruce. The apparatus comprises a rotatable seed magazine 2 and an arrangement in the form of a hopper 3 for discharging seed from the magazine 2 down onto the ground. The rotatable seed magazine 2 is in the form of a cylindrical drum which rotates about its axis, the drum being provided with seed- discharge ducts 7 which extend in the direction of the chord from the inside of the drum to its outside. The hopper 3 is provided with inlets in the form of nozzles 13 for the supply of compressed air 14, 14' which prevents the seeds forming lumps in the hopper and the magazine. <IMAGE>
