Abstract

An apparatus for mechanized planting of young trees comprises an applicator 11 which is supported by a vehicle and is vertically movable in relation to the latter, the applicator being connected to a magazine 29 for feeding plants 28 one by one to the said applicator. The applicator can be adjusted in position at or above ground level and is arranged to cooperate with a rotary cultivator 19 which has also been mounted on the said vehicle and serves to build up a heap of soil on the ground and around the said applicator, while the applicator and a plant contained in it are held in the said position. <IMAGE>
