Abstract

A sack-emptying machine has a foldable two-part set-up table for a sack, the contents of which must be emptied and a device to fold the sack's upper end parts around a folding line along the lower side of the sack in its emptying position after it has been torn up along said folding line. The device to fold said sack parts consists of a unit 17, 18 for not only turning the table halves and then the sack parts, but also to move these sideways in relation to each other. This occurs by said device including a middle link 17, 18 at one of its ends attached to a wall part or a rotational axle 19, 24 which transfers the rotating motions from a rotating motion generating device 20, 21, 22, 23 to the device for its activation and at its other end supporting the inner end section 15, 16 of one table half section. <IMAGE>
