Abstract

Such bags consist of two tubular portions (12, 13) which are fitted together, have tubular walls, which are staggered lengthwise relative to one another in layers, and have on their narrow sides (59) longitudinal folds (22), the fold legs (28, 29) of which are bent inwards in the flat state, but produce the narrow sides (59) when the bag is filled. The bottom (50) of the bag is produced by jointly folding over and bonding the ends (47) of the tubular portions. A bag of this type is to be filled without problems with liquid or pasty product and apportioned removal is to be allowed. For this purpose, the inner tubular portion (12) is formed from film material and provided with an end transverse seam (40) before the bottom of the bag is formed, which material is then folded into the bottom (50) of the bag.
