Abstract

1514440 Valves STANADYNE Inc 6 April 1977 [15 April 1976] 14532/77 Heading F2V A flexible sleeve 52 between a stem 22 and an outer sleeve 20 is manipulable by a cam shaped stem portion 76 to control flow through an inlet 38. Upward movement of the stem unseats a stem shoulder 84 from the flexible sleeve thus connecting the inlet to an outlet 58. As a mixing valve, a second inlet 40 is provided so that stem rotation controls outlet temperature and its axial displacement controls volume flow.
