1523723 Furniture frames BRITISH STEEL CORP 14 Aug 1975 [14 Aug 1974] 35851/74 Heading A4H An article of furniture such as a desk or cabinet includes a structure of sheet metal having a corner 6 provided by two side walls 2, 4 folded at 90 degrees and whose edge regions are mitred at (10) and folded twice through 90 degrees at 8 and 14 to provide a channel 13, the channel 13 being reinforced by an angle member 16 rested therein. Angle member 16 is of sheet metal and of channel section and is a force fit in the channel 13. Member 16 is additionally retained in channel 13 by folded over parts of the side wall of channel 13 engaging a cut-away portion of the angle member.
