Abstract
1473105 Ketone solutions of mixed herbicides LILLY INDUSTRIES Ltd 8 Aug 1974 [10 Aug 1973] 37945/73 Heading A5E A stable liquid herbicidal composition comprises a dinitroaniline herbicide and a N-aryl- N'-alkoxy urea herbicide dissolved in a non- phytotoxic alicyclic ketone, the ratio of dinitroaniline to urea being from 4:1 to 1:4. Optional ingredients are other solvents and non-ionic or anionic emulsifiers containing no free alcohol or polyalcohol. Typical composition ingredients are N, N-dipropyl-4-trifluoromethyl-2, 6-dinitroaniline, N-ethyl-N-2-methylallyl-4-trifluoromethyl-2, 6-dinitroaniline, N. N- dipropyl-4-sulphamoyl-2, 6-dinitroaniline: N-(3, 4-dichlorophenyl)-N'-methyl-N'-methoxy urea; and cyclohexanone or 3, 5, 5-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one. The compositions may be diluted with water and used for combating weeds in crops.
