Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a storage system comprising a container (5), defining a storage space (9) and a circumferential flange (11), which is adapted to rest on a frame or in a rack. The container (5) comprises a mesh material formed by expanding a sheet metal web, the mesh material forming a bottom panel (13) and two opposing pairs (15, 17) of side panels, the mesh material further forming the circumferential flange (11) by extending continuously from each side panel into a flange portion.
