Claims (7)

1. Förfarande för framställning av en nanofibrillerad ce||u|osa(NFC)-produktinnefattande stegen att: i) tillhandahålla cellulosafibrer dispergerade i vatten; ii) lösningsmedelsväxla vatten i fibrerna till ett organiskt lösningsmedel; iii) impregnera fibrerna med en lösning innefattande en halogenerad alifatisksyra; iv) värmebehandla de impregnerade fibrerna vid en temperatur som överstiger50°C I en alkalisk lösning innefattande ett organiskt lösningsmedel för attkarboxialkylera fibrerna; v) tvätta fibrerna; vi) omvandla karboxylgrupperna till deras alkalimetallmotjonsform; vii) eventuellt filtrera fibrerna; viii) dispergera fibrerna i vatten; ix) mekaniskt sönderdela fibrerna för att tillhandahålla NFC-produkten; kännetecknat av att den halogenerade alifatiska syran har fler än 2 kolatomer.
2. Förfarandet enligt krav 1, varvid den halogenerade alifatiska syran är 2-klorpropionsyra.
3. Förfarandet enligt krav 1 eller 2, varvid den alkaliska lösningen i steg iv) erhållsmedelst natriumhydroxid.
4. Förfarandet enligt något av kraven 1 till 3, varvid det organiska lösningsmedlet i denalkaliska lösningen i steg iv) innefattar åtminstone en av metanol, etanol ochisopropanol eller valfri blandning därav.
