Abstract

This invention relates to a method and a device for the separation of impurities in incoming waste water. The method according to the invention is characterized in that waste water containing impurities in the form of sand, gravel, stone, paper or similar material from water toilets or the like is led into a close channel (1) or the like, heavier material via an intake (3) being separated and fed with a spiral conveyor (4), which leads the material by means of a driving device (5) for the dewatering and emptying via an outlet (6) in a suitable place, while easier material is provided with the liquid water to strainer means (10, 11), air owing to different weight of easier material being supplied by means of a device (9), which is placed, if necessary, on an adjustable device (8), easier material being sticked on the strainer means (10, 11), where strainer means (10) is arranged solid and strainer means (11) movable, the movable strainer means (11) being driven with a driving means (13) for the leading of cleaning material down into a spiral conveyor (12) for further dewatering and transportation of the material to a suitable landfill place.

Description

512 836 2 similarly floats with the water, and since this material may have air, when necessary - different weight for the transfer to screen means 10 and 11, is conveyed by means of a device 9, which is placed on a, race, adjustable, height and submersible device 8. The transferred waste water, which is now clean of heavier particles, consists of light particles and these are attached to the screen means 10 and 11. The screen means consist of a fixed 10 and a movable 11 member comprising split rods. The fixed screen 10 or grid is provided with a wound surface with downward discharge, while the movable screen 11 or grid is made with barbs unfolded at the drop for transport and recessed at the ascent, when the fixed screen 10 has taken over the screen.

The movable screen means 11 or the grid is driven by a drive means 13 and leads the cleaner down into a spiral conveyor 12, which has a certain pressing effect for separating water and which removes the material during dewatering to a suitable storage place, such as e.g. a container or the like.

ÄHThe invention is of course not limited to this embodiment but can of course be varied within the scope of the inventive idea. ÄH
