Abstract

The different layers can pref. be provided as a number of coloured formations, and can be arranged widthways to each other on e.g. a self-adhesive tape, so that each is clearly visible to the human eye. A tape strip with a length of 5 cms thus provides a personal identity number, in which 10 colours are clearly distinguishable, even where some are merely shades of others, having a width of 5 mm. A variant arrangement is where the layers are arranged one on top of the other, so that each part layer has to cover that beneath it. To render the layers visible to the naked eye, or with the aid of a magnifying glass or microscope, each layer constellation takes the form of small particles. To achieve this, the coloured layers are painted on to each other, after which they dry and harden to a decomposable layer, from which colour particles are mixed in a solvent medium. Such a solvent should pref. have etching characteristics, at least on plastics material.

452 073 Because the system according to the invention has obtained the features stated in the claims, the above-mentioned objects and advantages can thus be achieved.

By utilizing different layers, with mutually distinguishable properties, representing numbers and / or letters and where each layer is arranged as inseparably as possible from an adjacent layer, a number of possibilities are offered for new identification and / or or labeling techniques.

The different layers can advantageously consist of either colored layers or layers with shades from the gray scale.

The layers can be arranged next to each other on, for example, a self-adhesive tape, whereby each layer becomes clearly visible to the human eye. A strip of tape with a length of 5 cm thus gives a social security number, where 10 colors, some of which naturally and probably will be the same, clearly distinguishable "sub-colors" with a width of 5 mm.

In another embodiment of the invention, the layers can be arranged on top of each other, each sublayer of course having to cover the underlying layers. To make the layers visible to the naked eye, or by means of a magnifying glass or microscope, each layer constellation should be made in the form of more or less small particles. This can be done in different ways. One way is by painting paint layers on top of each other which are then brought to cure to a degradable sheet, from which paint particles are mixed into a solvent, which, however, does not dissolve the various layers.

It is thus possible to obtain a color in which the constituent color pigments consist of the applied layers. Depending on whether each sublayer is to be distinguishable with the naked eye or not, different degrees of decomposition may come into question. The color solution thus obtained can be provided in spray packaging and / or in "nail polish bottles". A person with color pigments on at least one nail thus always has an identity recognizable to outsiders.

The solvent that can be used to advantage together with the unique color pigments ahr an etching character, at least on plastic materials. This makes it possible to give objects a marking in several places, which makes it practically impossible to remove all color pigments from all marking places. What this can mean for burglary and assault prevention purposes is obvious.

Instead of color layers, it is also possible by the present invention to use layers which for identification are not based on color curves.

A possible system according to the inventive concept can be based on layers with different thicknesses and / or layers with different chemical properties.
