Abstract
Description
451 595 containing nonionic surfactant and a combination of proteolytic and amolytic enzyme in a ratio of 4: 1 to 1: 4. A number of other conventional additives dishwasher detergent may be present.
Vi hänvisar till de sven- ska utläggningsskrifterna nr 364 981 och 365 539 samt den svenska patentansö- kan 9532/71.Combinations of different enzymes in detergents without direct focus on dishwasher detergents have been proposed in many contexts. We refer to the Swedish Officers Nos. 364 981 and 365 539 and the Swedish patent application can 9532/71.
In our attempts to compose a dishwasher detergent with such a composition that the initially mentioned inconveniences with highly alkaline agents are avoided, we have surprisingly found that what is taught in the above-mentioned explanatory writings nos. 346 327 and 361 899 and Üffenlegungsschrift 27 27 463 are not complete to provide an enzyme-based low alkaline dishwasher detergent having added satisfactory.efficiency. We have observed that the choice of surfactant system is one critical factor. Not even nonionic surfactants are generally considered objectionable free in enzyme contexts are generally useful. See also example 1. For one conventional dishwasher detergent, it is usually to the fullest that the surfactant (s) have a sufficient defoaming effect, while for a low alkaline requirements are added for greater emulsifying and wetting ability. The mentioned requirements best corresponds to a surfactant combination based on a mixture of nonionic surfactant of the ethoxylated alkylphenol type and an ampholyte or zwitterionic surfactant. If so required, the defoaming and emulsifying effect can be increased by adding surfactants based on co- or block polymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wetting agent is increased. the multiplicity of the surfactant combination by adding a so-called fluorosurfactant, i.e. surfactant with fluorocarbon residues in the hydrophobic part of the molecular len.
The present invention relates to a low alkaline enzyme containing dishwasher agents which additionally contain a surfactant mixture which contains at least one alkylated alkylphenol having between 4 and 16 carbon atoms in the alkyl chain and having between 2 and ethylene oxide units and at least one ampholyte or zwitterionic surfactant. Although it is per se possible to design means according to the invention as an aqueous solution, i.e. use water as a carrier for the active substances This is a less preferred embodiment because most dishwashers are equipped for dosing particulate detergents.

är användba- P3.The enzymes used in detergents according to the invention have high activity and it would be impractical to dose the very small amounts required if the product consists only of surfactant mixture and enzymes. It is recommended therefore diluting the active substance with up to 95% by weight of particulate matter inorganic or organic salts. Preferably 10 - 90% by weight of salt is included. mixture in the compositions of the invention. A certain part of this salt mixture usually consists of sodium sulphate, which is not to a greater extent affects the stability of the enzymes during storage and active use. Also Organic excipients such as various sugars, dextrins, etc. are useful. P3.
A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention is also included in the mixture inorganic and / or organic complexing agents. As such, polymers can be used phosphates especially tripolyphosphate and pyrophosphate. Other complexing agents that can of interest are, for example, nitrilotriacetates, ethylenediaminetetraacetates, phosphonates and lower carboxylic acids with two or more carboxyl groups.f Still other suitable complexing agents are various natural or synthetic ones polymers or oligomers with a relatively large number of carboxyl groups loaded along the chain. In addition to the primary task of taking care of multi-value ions in the water or dirt and thus improve the solubility of the dirt or dispersibility, these polymers can also serve as protective colloids and prevent redeposition of dirt. For economic reasons, sodium salts are preferred although potassium, ammonium and amine salts can also be used.
En sådan buffring kan åstadkommas genom lämpligt val och koncentration av komp- lexbildare eller genom'att särskilda buffertsalter såsom bikarbonat, karbonat, borat etc. tillsättes. pH i brukslösningen bör ligga mellan 6,0 och 9,5, företrädesvis mellan 8,5 och 9,0.Enzymes generally exert their optimal activity within a relatively limited range pH range and it is therefore suitable that agents according to the invention are buffered against the effect of the water used and the dirt present. One such buffering can be accomplished by appropriate selection and concentration of lex formers or by using special buffer salts such as bicarbonate, carbonate, borate etc. are added. The pH of the working solution should be between 6.0 and 9.5, preferably between 8.5 and 9.0.
The enzymes required in an agent of the invention are primarily amyloid. lasers and / or proteases. However, it may also be appropriate to add lipases. Often, however, lipases are not necessary because appropriately selected sides can emulsify existing fats.
The enzymes can be of animal, vegetable and microbiological origin.
Particularly useful from the point of view of accessibility and stability are those in 451 593 some amylases and proteases produced by culturing submersion of Bacillus Subtilis et al. bacterial strains.
The concentration of proteolytic enzyme in incubation solution should be between 0.05 and 0.20 Anson units (AU) per liter, preferably between 0.10 and 0.15 AU / l. ~ The concentration of amolytic enzyme in the dishwashing solution should be between 2 and 10 kilonovo units per liter. A novo unit = 1 NOVÛ-Alpha-amylase unit is it amount of enzyme that breaks down 5.26 mg of soluble starch per hour. A preferred Amolytic enzyme content is between 4 and 7 kilonovo units per liter.
As already mentioned, the surfactant mixture must contain at least one ethoxylated alkylphenol with 4 to 16 carbon atoms in the alkyl chain, ethylated with 2 to 15 ethylene oxide units.
Alkylphenols with a short ethoxy chain are relatively sparingly soluble while a longer chain causes the amount of foam to increase. A preferred ethoxylated alkylphenol for use in agents of the invention have 8 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl chain and are ethoxylated with 6 - 10 ethoxy units per molecule. M Furthermore, the surfactant mixture contains at least one ampholyte or zwitterionic surfactant.

Sedan lösningen svalnat justerades volymen till 1000 ml.Example 1 To determine which surfactants are compatible with amylase, the following was done they try: 6.27 g of starch was suspended in 100 ml of water. The suspension was transferred tititating to a beaker with 200 ml of boiling water. The solution was boiled 1 to 2 minutes.and was then transferred quantitatively to a volumetric flask. Then the solution cooled, the volume was adjusted to 1000 ml.
For each sample according to the table below, 10 ml of starch solution was used. one. The experiments were performed in a thermostated bath, 7500. To each test tube containing starch solution was added 1 ml of Tris buffer 1 M (tris = tris (hydr roxymethyl) aminomethane), pH 8.5 and immediately thereafter 1 ml of an enzyme solution with 1 mg amylase per ml. Timing immediately after the addition of amylase.
After the incubation times given in the table, 1 ml of sample was taken and mixed with 5 ml of iodine solution containing 88 mg of iodine and 40 mg of potassium iodide per liter.
The light absorbance was measured at the wavelength of 520 nanometers. The degree of starch hydrolysis was calculated by setting the absorbance of samples without enzyme addition to 1 and the absorbance measured in each case was subtracted from this value.
