Abstract
Description
7900281-2 and from the side of electronic circuit boards, respectively, intended to be connected directly to connection terminals in an apparatus cabinet, while Fig. 3 shows on a smaller scale an example of a part of an installation according to the invention.
1 dock ej införda i anslutningsplintarna 3. The basic idea of the device according to the present invention is as can be seen from Figs. 1-3 that 'in an apparatus cabinet 1 electronic' circuit boards 2 are connected directly to connection terminals 3 for the external lines 4, thereby eliminating extensive wiring between circuit boards and the connection terminals. also called line terminals 1. For the sake of clarity, the circuit boards 2 in Fig. 1 are not shown in the connection terminals 3. This is achieved by the circuit board 2 being made with connection means 5 along one of its edges 6, which are adapted to the connecting terminals 7 of the connection terminals 3. 3 are designed as female connections according to the applicable standard, each circuit board being provided with male connections 5 in the form of pins, which are arranged at a mutual distance adapted to the mutual distance between each female connection 7 in the connection terminals 3. By connection terminals 3 is meant here thus the standard-. terminals normally used for connection between electrical cables, which are intended to be connected to each female connection on one side of the connection terminal 3, which female connections are in electrical connection with each corresponding female connection on the other side of the connection terminal. The female connections 7 are designed, for example, as continuous, electrically conductive bores, which at each end have a transverse locking screw 8, by means of which the electrical cable 4 in question is locked. However, it is not necessary that the connection terminal 3 is made with a locking screw but with some resilient locking plate which holds the inserted cable or in this case on one side of the connection terminal the connection pin on the connected circuit board.
Kretskorten utföres med lämp- ligt format som beror av erforderligt antal anslutningar till anslutningsplinten 3.Fig. 3 shows an example of a part of an installation according to the invention in which the electronic circuit boards 2 are inserted directly into the connecting means of the connection terminals 3. In addition to these connections, there are direct connections between the cards, which form signal connections. The circuit boards are made with a suitable format that depends on the required number of connections to the terminal block 3.
By exchanging one card for another, one can obtain a changed function of the monitoring alarm.
In the installation example, certain circuit boards so-called input cards, for example the group of cards shown on the left, which are installed in the required number, corresponding to the number of monitoring points in the monitoring system. For each input card a number of said external lines 4 are arranged, which lead to the monitoring point in question and can in principle consist of a circuit, which is arranged to be closed or broken in the event of a fault in a manner known per se.
Each input card is provided with a signal indication in the form of an LED, lamp 7900281-2 or the like which, when an error occurs, indicates the monitoring point in question.
The circuit boards 2 on the right can consist of so-called relay cards with relay sets that are designed to connect circuits to, for example, summed alarm receivers, which are not shown in the figure and may, for example, be located at a central monitoring unit, an emergency center or the like. To this leads, for example, the lines indicated in Fig. 3 by 9. 10 and 11, respectively, denote two alternative front panels, which can constitute front panels in the control cabinet 1, on one wall 12 of which the connection terminal 3 is arranged. In the example shown, a push button panel 13 is arranged on the front panel 10, while a sum alarm indicator 14 is arranged on the front panel 11. The push button panel 13 and the sum alarm indicator 14 are connected to one relay board via lines 15, 16. The so-called the external lines 4, which are connected to the external relay board via the terminal block 3, are intended to be connected to, for example, a summed alarm receiver and a voltage source for voltage supply. Depending on the structure of the system, a varying number of cards of different types can be inserted between the input cards shown. An example of another type of circuit board is the so-called pushbutton boards, which in principle can have the same structure as the pushbutton panel 13, whereby if such cards replace one or more of your pushbutton panels, the wiring can be further reduced.
From the installation example shown, it is clear that a considerably simplified wiring is obtained by connecting the plurality of electronic circuit boards directly to the fixed connection terminal, to which external wires are connected according to the invention. If instead the circuit boards had been mounted on the back of, for example, a front panel, a particularly extensive wiring would have been required between each circuit board and the connection terminal 3, which is extremely cumbersome and costly. Since a front panel is usually swiveling, great demands are placed on these connections to allow the front panel to swing up without damaging the installation over time. This disadvantage thus does not exist in the present invention, where only such necessary units are thus installed on the front panel, which are intended for observation from the outside.
