A number of cuboidal objects together forming a parallelepipedic group are wrapped in a rectangular sheet having panels covering the sides of the group and strips supporting the ends of the group so that parts of the ends of the group remain visible. The sheet is folded about the group to form an open-ended tube with the strips projecting beyond the ends of the package, and at one end of the package a section, 9, of one of these strips being folded against this end while at least the adjacent sections 7, 8 of the strip are tucked between the objects and the sheet side portions.
