Abstract
1,117,343. Transistor oscillating circuits. MARCONI CO. Ltd. 2 Dec., 1966 [28 Jan., 1966; 30 Sept., 1966], Nos. 3944/66 and 43834/66. Heading H3T. A piezo-electric circuit arrangement is stabilized against change of frequency when the temperature changes by connecting in parallel two or more crystals each having an approximately parabolic frequency-temperature characteristic, the individual " turnover " temperatures occurring at substantially the same frequency but at different temperatures spaced apart in a temperature range to be covered. If necessary inductances L1, L2 or capacitances may be connected in series with the crystals, as shown, two in number A, B, in order to equalize their " turnover " frequencies. The Specification refers to the use of crystals of BT or RT cut.
