A cine camera has an arrangement by which a filter 19 is pivoted into the light path through objective 20, 21 whenever lamp 9 is lit by rotation of knob 10. An eccentrically mounted stud 13, on a disc 12 fixed to the shaft of knob 10, engages arm 15 on a shaft 14 which carries a further arm 16. Filter 19 pivots at 18 when the spring-loaded mounting lever 17 is engaged by the arm 16 on rotation of knob 10. Lamp (9) has a bracket (8) removably held in a slideway (7), as in Fig. 3 (not shown). In another form, the lamp is operated by a switch abutting against the end of a sheathed cable controlling the filter movement.
