1 Anvandarenhetsassistansinformationssignalering i ett tradlost natverk TEKNISKT OMRADE Foreliggande presentation avser trAdlosa natverk och mer specifikt anordningar och metoder for forbattrad signalering av anvandarenhetsassistansinformation i ett tradlost natverk.
BAKGRUND I trAdlosa natverk, exempelvis natverk av typen LIE (Long Term Evolution) och LIE-Advanced (LTE-A), verkar mobila kommunikationsenheter, 5N/en benamnda anvandarenheter, UE (User Equipment), inom cellulara tackningsregioner eller celler. En eller flera basstationer aven kanda som eNB (evolved Node B) sandtagare, associeras typiskt med varje cell. eNB:erna kommunicerar och hanterar UE:ar genom att overvaka UE-status och anpassa konfigurationsval och parametrar associerade med anvandarenheterna och/eller natverket for att Oka operativ effektivitet.
Allteftersom natverkstrafik akar, implementeras nya systemforbattringar i LTE/LTE-A natverket. I och med dessa forbattringar kan nya former av UE statusinformation och operativa preferensindikatorer behova sandas mellan UE:n och eNB:n. Denna ytterligare informationsoverforing kan emellertid ha negativ Overkan p5 signaleringsoverhead och/eller forbruka ytterligare bandbredd, vilket är en begransad resurs.

MSI kan vara associerad med en handovertakt nar UE:n befinner sig i ett uppkopplat tillst5nd, UE Connected, och en 3 cellomvalstakt associerad med ett vilotillstAnd for anyandarenheten, UE Idle. De uppdaterade DRX-parametrarna mojliggor mer effektiv UE-funktion s5som ett okat bevarande av batterieffekt med fordrojningseffekt.
I nagra utforingsformer, kan sandning av assistansinformation till eNB:n 104 repeteras eller omsandas till dess att ett svar mottas fr5n eNB:n. Timer/raknarkretsar 210 kan konfigureras att forelagga en minimitidsperiod eller fordrojning mellan konsekutiva omsandningar av assistansmeddelandet. Denna minimitidsperiod mellan omsandningar kan stallas in mot ett troskelvarde for att minska signaleringsoverhead och aka bandbreddseffektiviteten mellan UE:n 102 och eNB: 104. I n5gra utforingsformer kan separata timers anvandas for omsandning av PPI:n och omsandning av MSI:n. Timer/raknarkretsarna 210 kan vidare konfigureras att begransa det totala antalet av s5dana omsandningar eftersom eNB:n kan valja att inte besvara assistansinformationen. FIG.11 illustrerar en plattformskonfiguration 1100 for ett exempel p5 en utforingsform inom ramen for foreliggande presentation. Plattformen 1100 kan vara en mobilkommunikationsenhet, s5som exempelvis en UE-enhet (smart telefon), en surfplatta, en barbar dator eller varje annan enhet konfigurerad att sanda eller ta emot tr5dlosa signaler. I nAgra utforingsformer, kan plattformen 1110 innefatta en processor, ett minne 1130, ett I/O system 1140 en visningsenhet/tangentbord eller varje annan typ av anvandarinterface 1170 s5som exempelvis en pekkanslig skarm. Plattformen 1100 kan vidare innefatta en basbandsprocessormodul 1150 och en RF processormodul 1160 s5val som en eller flera antenner som kan utgora en del av ett MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antennsystem.
Varje antal plattformer 1100 kan sanda eller motta signaler genom RF-modul 1160 och antenner 1180 over ett trAdlost natverk som kan vara ett LTE eller LTE-A trAdlost natverk.
Utforingsformer av de hari beskrivna metoderna kan implementeras i ett system som innefattar ett eller flera lagringsmedium som innefattar lagrade, individuellt eller i kombination, instruktioner som vid exekvering i en eller flera processorer utfor metoderna.
