Abstract

The present invention relates to a method to produce an austenitic alloy by an austenitic stainless substrate alloy of low Al content being coated with an alloy of higher Al content at a temperature between 100° C. and 600° C., so that the resulting product has an Al content of 4.5-12% by weight.
