Способ получения боридов редкоземельных металлов, включающий термичес кую обработку исходных соединений в присутствии восстановителя, отличающийся тем, что в качестве исходных соединений используют оксиды или хлориды редкоземельных металлов и бор, а в качестве восстановителя используют гидрид лития, термическую обработку ведут при 850 - 1100oC, после термической обработки реакционную смесь промывают водой, сушат.A method of producing rare earth borides, including heat treatment of the starting compounds in the presence of a reducing agent, characterized in that the starting compounds use oxides or chlorides of rare-earth metals and boron, and lithium hydride is used as the reducing agent, the heat treatment is carried out at 850 - 1100 o C , after heat treatment, the reaction mixture is washed with water and dried.
