Способ переработки тяжелых нефтяных фракций, включающий смешение исходного сырья с добавкой, полученной путем обработки нефтепродуктов газообразным окислительным агентом, нагревание и последующее разделение продукта на фракции, отличающийся тем, что нефтепродукты для получения добавки содержат не менее 0,65% серосодержащих соединений в пересчете на серу и не менее 3,5% полиареновых соединений, а их обработку проводят озонсодержащим газом, причем смешение добавки с исходным сырьем производят из расчете содержания 0,5 - 13 г поглощенного добавкой озона на 1 кг получаемой смеси.1.
