Abstract
FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: in compliance with invention concentration is determined as arithmetic mean value of concentrations measured with the use of group of ultrasonic transducers arranged in pairs "radiator-receiver" uniformly over section of pipeline. Time of measurement of one pair depends on cross-section area of pipe-line, flow rate of liquid and distance between adjacent pairs of transducers. Apart from the mentioned frequency f sending of pulses by radiator is also determined by value of flow rate, cross-section area of pipe-line and diameter of piezoelement of receiver of ultrasonic transducer. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of concentration of suspended substances in liquid flowing in pipe-line of large cross-section. 3 cl, 3 dwg
